About Father Adam Park

Father Adam Park is a Catholic priest with almost two decades of priesthood experience. Father Adam Park is a native Washingtonian and grew up in Bethesda, MD. While at Walt Whitman High School in his senior year, he realized that he was being called by God to join the priesthood, and he turned down his scholarship to the University of Notre Dame to join the seminary instead. Father Park was accepted into the Archdiocese of Washington’s seminary formation program and was sent to St. Pius X Seminary in Scranton, PA. There, he was able to graduate with a BA in philosophy at the University of Scranton. For his theological studies and major seminary formation, Father Park attended the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy and earned his S.T.L. in Fundamental Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University.

Father Adam Park was ordained to the priesthood in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, he served at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rockville, MD as a parochial vicar. After his time at St. Patrick Catholic Church, he was assigned to be the priest secretary of His Eminence, Cardinal Donald Wuerl for four years. Father Park was later named pastor at Epiphany Catholic Church in Georgetown and took the additional assignment of Chaplain to the Newman Catholic Student Center at George Washington University. He was later transferred to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington, D.C. as the church’s pastor while maintaining his position as chaplain at George Washington University.

After just a year at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, his alma mater, the Pontifical North American College, requested that he take on the duties of Vice Rector at the Seminary Life/Director of Human Formation in Rome. Father Park served in this position from 2017 to 2021. In the time since, Father Park has returned to the Archdiocese of Washington to assist at Annunciation Catholic Church located in Washington, D.C., as well as hospital ministry at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD.

Over the course of his time in the priesthood, Father Adam Park has built a reputation as a Catholic leader with knowledge of spirituality and prayer according to Catholic tradition. Father Park is recognized for his profound dedication to helping others reconnect with God and leverage his teachings to live a more healthy and virtuous life.

In his free time, Father Adam Park is an avid home cook and enjoys practicing baking as well. Father Park also enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, leading prayer, and exercising.
